Fight for a fairer share of regional and national funding to defend and strengthen local facilities and services such as the development of brownfield sites for creative industries; local medical provision such as the War Memorial Hospital, for more police on our streets and to tackle M6 congestion

Speak out for a better tax environment for entrepreneurs and challenge bureaucracy – especially from the European Union; vigorously champion changes to the benefits system; constructively work for better apprenticeship training – coordinated with employers such as myself

Work with and support local community groups, churches, voluntary organisations and inspirational local leaders to ensure our local communities stay attractive, vibrant and strong
