• Make the people of Congleton constituency my priority, serving every part of the constituency; diligently responding to residents concerns and holding surgeries across the area
• Be a strong voice in Westminster for our farmers, local businesses, soldiers and pensioners
• Challenge and help change the legacy of the present Governmentʼs wasteful and inefficient management of the nationʼs finances – as I have successfully done at local government level
• Fight for a fairer share of regional and national funding to defend and strengthen local facilities and services such as the development of brownfield sites for creative industries; local medical provision such as the War Memorial Hospital, for more police on our streets and to tackle M6 congestion
• Speak out for a better tax environment for entrepreneurs and challenge bureaucracy – especially from the European Union; vigorously champion changes to the benefits system; constructively work for better apprenticeship training – coordinated with employers such as myself
• Work with and support local community groups, churches, voluntary organisations and inspirational local leaders to ensure our local communities stay attractive, vibrant and strong
